Hi! I’m Christine. I am a stay at home mom who’s obsessed with coupons! I thrive on finding the best deals for my family, which can be hard living in Southern California where the average price of a gallon of milk is close to $4! I started this blog because I love saving money; it’s a passion of mine. I’m sure I’ve embarrassed my husband a time or two with my frugality, but I’m not at all ashamed of my penny pinching tendencies. When I want something, I’ll do what I have to do to get it, and by golly if that means doing laundry and running the vacuum during off peak hours to save a few pennies on our electric bill then that’s what I’m going to do. I can’t imagine paying full price for anything anymore or at least checking to see if there’s a coupon for any given item. After my son was born, I thought I could kiss my days of couponing goodbye, but slowly I was able to get back into the swing of things and now aside from being a mom, I consider couponing a full time job. I want to teach my children the importance of being wise with their money and that coupons are not just a little piece of paper; their money in our pocket. I am documenting my journey of saving money not only so I can look back one day and see how far along I’ve come in my battle to save money, but also to help others in all walks of life. Journey with me as I battle the day to day challenges of life with a one year old while keeping our single-income finances in check…grab a newspaper and a pair of scissors and let’s get clipping!
